is this really necessary?

After nearly a lifetime of trying to pray away distressing situations, giving in to despairing over circumstances I believed I was too weak to handle, and questioning why an all loving God would allow me to endure such pain and tragedy....scripture points me in a direction I had failed to consider.

Because what if....our darkest days and biggest disappointments were necessary?
